A detective follows the trail of a missing girl, finding her in a decrepit old house but not quite the way he expected.
A solo 3D animated short film done in the style of Sin City (2005)'s stunning Film Noir lighting with a tinge of blood red.
As the film is shot in grayscale, a lot of time had to be spent getting the lighting to work with the textures to produce desirable levels for each shot.

REFERENCES
The film takes place in the 1940s, America, but the cottage design and household items had to be a lot older. References were aimed around the 1910s, in the countryside of pre-WWII America.
